From June 18 to June 28, the 2025 Reno Rodeo takes over, bringing excitement, tradition, and community pride to northern Nevada. At Peterbilt Truck Parts & Equipment, we’re proud to sponsor this incredible event — a symbol of our region’s hard work, grit, and Western spirit.
Known as the “Wildest, Richest Rodeo in the West,” the Reno Rodeo has been a staple since 1919. Each year, more than 140,000 fans flock to the Livestock Events Center to experience everything from bull riding to barrel racing. The event is PRCA-sanctioned and ranks in the top 10 professional rodeos in the country — a source of pride for our community.
But it’s not just about entertainment. The Reno Rodeo has a strong charitable mission:
This year, we’re trading wrenches for ropes! Our Peterbilt Truck Parts & Equipment team is competing in the Steer Decorating event on Friday, June 27. This high-energy competition pairs two teammates: one ropes the steer while the other dashes to tie a ribbon on its tail. It’s fast, fun, and full of the teamwork and precision we use in the shop every day.
