Peterbilt Truck Parts and Equipment and Silver State International are pleased to announce the promotion of Lane Powell to chief operations officer.
Powell has more than 15 years of experience in the trucking industry. Previously, he served as the Silver State International general manager of leasing, where he was responsible for overseeing the growth and profitability of the leasing divisions, Idealease and PacLease.
Powell served as a tank technician in the U.S. Army and holds numerous certifications from Paccar, Cummins, ASE, and the U.S Army. In 2019, he worked directly with the corporate team at Idealease and the National Private Truck Council to host a safety seminar, which was well attended by fleet owners and managers from all over the region.
Powell received his Master of Business Administration with an emphasis in leadership from Southern New Hampshire University in 2023.
In his new role, Powell will be responsible for directing and coordinating operations for both Silver State International and Peterbilt Truck Parts and Equipment.

Peterbilt Truck Parts & Equipment and Silver State International hosted a food drive in partnership with the Food Bank of Northern Nevada. In the fight against hunger, the food drive helped bring in a total of 100 points of food, which equals 83 meals for families within the local community.
The Food Bank of Northern Nevada provides food for families in need through more than 150 partner agencies across northern Nevada and the eastern slope of the Sierra in California. They serve more than 130,000 people every month, almost half of whom are children and seniors. Last fiscal year, we provided more than 20 million meals for neighbors who faced hunger.
